For a clean environment: our autumn cleanup in detail.
On Sunday, October 26, 2025, BioDiv e.V. supported a community cleanup at THI Campus Ingolstadt together with Our Future e.V. and Rolfes SDG Academy. The action was funded by the German Foundation for Civic Engagement and Voluntary Service (DSEE).

A visible statement for environmental protection.
On a clear autumn day, surrounded by colorful leaves, a dedicated group gathered to improve the quality of life locally. Equipped with grabbers and large blue garbage bags, the team removed carelessly discarded waste from green spaces and nearby paths.
Environmental protection is stronger as a team effort.
The group's motivation was palpable from the start. Together, participants systematically combed every nook and cranny. Grabbers made it possible to collect hard-to-reach trash safely and hygienically, while the shared work strengthened team cohesion.

Besides plastic packaging, bottles, and cigarette butts, the team discovered larger discarded items among the autumn leaves. Each item removed from nature is a concrete contribution to preserving the local ecosystem.

At the end of the cleanup, the result spoke for itself. The action was not only about collecting trash; it was also about raising awareness and inspiring others to treat our shared environment with more care.
